"Anything else Mr. President?"
How about peace of mind. I think its exciting to see Mr. Obama as our first 44th
African-American President. As an african-american man at the age of early 30's
and never thought I would see an african-american President at this time soon
in my life. I actually thought it would happen much later. BUT I believe we are
on the cusp of a new place in our global politics. With war, famine and poverty
becoming more apparent in our world it maybe a good idea to respect one anothers
point of views. Though our country may have been built on ingenuity, hardwork
and to be honest a touch of rebellion we have to seek out one another in order to
survive each forth coming decades on end. I believe Mr. Obama will be the first
step in a bridge to connect the U.S. with the reality of the rest of the world. To be
honest I feel some Americans have lost reality on what REAL "work" is needed
in order to achieve personal and smart goals. I feel a touch of the old ways is going
to get us back to where we need to be. This meansworking hard. Better service
a seriousness in what needs to be done. Myself working my way through a college
education put a perspective in life that always me to know what I want. It built
a foundation that set the vision for something that mine and mine alone. Like
Mr. Obama, One of our African-American founding fathers Booker T. Washington
had a vision that started with hardly anything. His school of the Tuskegee Institute
was to train young African-American soldiers into advanced pilots. Mr. Obama
has done his homework. I feel this is what Mr. Obama has in mind for these
United States of America.
